Welcome to ABC's KidLife Page... Here you will find tons of information about this ministry that serves elementery aged kids and there families here at ABC. Click the buttons to the right -> Our Mission and Purpose: Our Mission: Children's Ministry exists to partner with parents to build a child's TRUST in God. Our Purpose: Throughout elementary school we desire to continue building authentic faith, to begin talking about wise choices, and to develop a mindset of others first. Our Elementary curriculum is focused on helping children understand that God has been and will always be writing a story of redemption, and that we get to be a part of it! Kids learn that The Big God Story is a big-picture narrative of how God has been redeeming His people from the very beginning of time. We want kids to gain a high view of God and live obediently to His word and will. Sunday Mornings: Services Times: 9am and 11am. Classrooms open 15 minutes His Kids (our Special Needs class) meets 6th grade meets only at 11am How Sunday mornings work: All grades must be checked into their classrooms by a parent or person the parents have pre-approved on the child's registration card (rooms open 15 minutes prior to the start of the service). K-2nd grades must also be signed out after the service. 3rd-6th grades can sign themselves out unless parents specify otherwise. K-5th grades participate in both large and small group times. During large group, kids are engaged in worship through songs and the teaching of God's word in creative ways such as dramas, videos and hands on activities. Small groups are where kids grow in their relationship with God and connect with each other and with their leaders. 1st time Visitors: Visit the Computer Check-in booth (downstairs in the Family Center) and we will help you get started! Register your child: If you attend ABC regularly, please fill out this registration form and turn it in on Sunday to have your child's name appear on the attendance roster. Curriculum:
We are dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus to all children who visit each class through God centered curriculum. We use Tru through David C Cook. We provide a take home paper telling you what your child will be learning the next week. Tru is a brand-new children's and family ministry resource created in a unique partnership with David C. Cook, ROCKHARBOR Church in Costa Mesa, California and a national network of family and children's ministry leaders. It's been developed by actual ministry workers, then tested and shaped in churches across the country. Tru is a dynamic, spiritually forming, and family-empowered ministry philosophy that offers a vibrant weekend curriculum, as well as other family resources that meet the specific needs of today's generation. Tru is uniquely created to inspire, equip, and support parents and church leaders in their ministry to children. Click here for more info about Tru.
