Our Purpose

The purpose of Atascadero Bible Church's Celebrate Recovery ministry is to provide a safe place in an environment of acceptance and love for people who are challenged in their lives by a hurt, habit or hang up that keeps them from a productive life that honors God. By working through the Christian 12 Steps and the 8 Recovery Principles found in Scripture, we become free from addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors.

This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our higher power. As we move through the program, we are drawn to Jesus Christ, who gives us grace for the day and complete forgiveness of all our past sins. With His peace and guidance from the Holy Spirit, we are then ready to enjoy a relationship with our family, and in particular, the family of God.
