Senior Saints Visitation
– Volunteers are paired with a shut in senior from ABC to bring
a smile and visit into a sometimes lonely life. We invite volunteers to
send cards, make phone calls and be creative in letting our seniors know
how much they are missed and loved.

Hospital Visitation
– ABC’s Chaplains Ken Brown and Charlie Ferrell, share their skills in visiting
those in the hospital with teams of “hospital visitors”. A
brief visit, a well spoken Scripture and prayer brings joy and healing
to the spirit of our members who find themselves sidelined in the hospital.
Come join the team as they minister to our congregation and their families in times of illness or surgery with the healing word of the Lord.

Prayer Chains
–ABC offers two types prayer chains for the prayer warriors in our midst. The “E-mail” prayer chain passes requests from ABC families through to your e-mail account. Our prayer warriors receive urgent requests for prayer on their computesr allowing us to cover the congregation swiftly and completely when needed. All that is necessary to join the email prayer team is to call the office and give them your email address and let them know you would like to be a part of our prayer ministry. Be sure to check your email as often as possible as these requests can be sent at any time including weekends.
We also offer a “phone chain” prayer ministry for those who would prefer a phone call about the request. After writing down the request, we ask that you then call the name after yours on the written chain to pass on the information. Updated lists are sent out regularly.
We encourage our ABC families to join one of our prayer chains so that the ministry of prayer is always available to our people. Contact the church office for more details.

GriefShare
–GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Contact the church office for more information.
